Zion. Means a peaceful place or a sanctuary. Zion Nat. Park is all of those things. As well as breathtaking, awe inspiring, beautiful and colourful.
As you can tell we spent the day at Zion again and we brought lots of batteries this time. We took tons of photos but none of them capture the true colour , size and majesty this place offers. It is amazing the amount of people that are here at this time of year. Makes sense to me though why would you want to be here in the summer when it is 90 to 100f, and the traffic bumper to bumper.
When you look at those huge mountains carved out they remind me of castles or huge fortresses in the sky. I never really get tired of beautiful places.
On the personal side Yvonne lost her other wiggly tooth and the tooth fairy made her visit and she completed another Jr. Ranger program at Zion. She is a vetran now. I think she has 4 or 5 completed now with more to come. Leslie is busy as uasual with year end and month ends for most of her clients as well getting ready for the 2nd printing of her cookbook. Lori and Michelle are holding things together for us as usual while we are on the road. Thanks you two. As for me I received my stained glass kit yesterday and cut the pattern and pasted it on the glass last night. It was almost painful to have to go to Zion but I couldn't miss that. We got home and I managed to cut some of the glass out and will finish cutting and hopefully get it all ground and ready for soldering tomorow. Hopefully I can get a project done every 2 or 3 days. I even started painting, if thats what you want to call it but it is good and I finally have the time.
We will see you all last week of March sometime so take care all. Jim
