Hey y'all. As you can see we are in a rain storm. The water is definitly rising. They pumped the canals down today and the rains have let up so hopefully the worst is over. The worst spot is around LA.LA . They had the fires there and there is nothing to hold the ground from washing away. They are clearing out the drains from the fall leaf fall. That will help carry away the water. ya think. We have known about the rains for over a week. Hello!! Anybody home out there?

Anyway we left Desert Hot Springs and the weather there was in the high 70's low 80's. We got a lot of pool time and I played water volley ball just about everyday. The tan is looking good. Yvonne and I played some basketball during school breaks and she weally(taw I taw a puddy tat weally) lol. enjoyed it. She is at the age where she is really getting into all sports. This park put in a new work out room and they have bought some great equipment and we are all spending an hour in there every day. I am thure thor. Yvonne sure likes to work out. Hopefully we will all lose a few pounds as she will be back into Soo Bahk Do when we get to S Diego at the end of the month. Richard and I will be back on the bike rides. Les will be also as the trails are very good down there as the trails are around Mission Bay. Take care all. We weally mith u all. lol Sorry. Jim

HAPPY NEW YEAR. I find it hard to believe that it is 2010. Where did all the decades go? It doesn't matter tho you just want more. 2010 is going to be a year of change for us, that is for sure. There are some decisions we have to make with regards to school for Evonne, housing for us and a big change in travel plans. There are some outstanding issues with regards to family that will be dealt with asap. It seems when we are on the road some things just don't get done, It will all be done this year.
I hope everyone had a good New Year, We went to the clubhouse had some snacks. drinks and lots of dancing. It was the first year Yvonne actually stayed up with us all to ring in the New Year. It was a little bitter sweet as we have some good friends down here, but we also have great friends at home and are looking forward to skiing , skating and all the other things being home brings.
We are all looking forward to the changes that life has instore for us and renewing old aquaintances and adjusting to winter. brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
One thing is for sure I will be doing a lot of stained glass during the winter months. I just completed the crown and anchor and the x and crown of thorns I gave to Mary Lou in Yuma last year and forgot to take a picture. It is a spectacular looking piece and one of my favorites. Until next blog have a good one Jim
